I know people said clear blue digital test could be wrong sometimes but I’m so worried 😧
I have done 2 early morning urine test with clear blue. One was last week and the other one was this morning. To my surprise, it’s always showing 2-3 weeks and I’m almost 5 weeks now.
I told one of the doctors in EPU about this but he said I should just wait for my scan but this is killing.
I will stop doing it but do you think the embryo is growing ?
Please has anyone experienced this before and the embryo is okay? Please help me😥

There is a lady on here who had a successful pregnancy and never got more than the 2-3 weeks on the clearblue weeks indicator. I think she gave up on them at 9 weeks. Also you say you are almost 5 weeks, I wouldn’t expect to see 3+ until you’re over 5 weeks. I know it’s a worrying time. I hope this puts your mind at rest a little xx
Thank you so much Tugsgirls so grateful for this. But when I was 3+ I actually saw 3+ on the clear blue and the following week it dropped down to 2-3 weeks . That’s my concern really.
Tugs you just saved me the trouble writing this! It was me 🤣lol. Never once got that elusive 3+ and my two year old is snoring on my lap as we speak! Xx
Fantastic story and a word of caution to us all with Clear Blue! Sending lots of positivity Nancy001
As Tugsgirl says 2-3 weeks means 4-5 weeks so you are spot on. I was doing these tests but have been told they are super sensitive and can give wrong readings - they are meant as a guide rather than a progression test .. I would put the tests away and wait for your scan - I know it’s hard - there are loads of us impatient and worrying in the same boat. Good luck x
Thanks saya. Yeah I don’t have much symptoms than sore boobs but it’s not even as sore as before. That alone is worrying but finger crossed 🤞 all will be well. Thanks hon!😘
I’ve also read that these tests are unreliable and don’t always progress in the way you expect. I’ve got one in the draw but I’m too scared to use it in case it adds to my worries! Are you having an early scan?
Hey Chickp thanks for this. My worry is that when I was 3 plus it was actually shown on clear blue and it went down to 2-3 weeks the following week. I don’t know if this is normal. Will stop doing them as it’s driving me so nut!
My scan is 7th of Jan. Xx
First of all congratulations on the pregnancy 🎉 i think the above advice is really good.
The early weeks are so tough going, but you will get through them ❤️ Take it one day at a time “ today I am pregnant tomorrow I might not be but today I am so I’ll be happy I am pregnant .” Worked well for me. No point in worrying in something that hasn’t happened yet or may never happen.❤️
I have heard of lots of ladies having issues with this test & causing unnecessary stress 🤦🏽♀️ when I had a chemical pregnancy last year I tested negative the next day, so I think it’s a good sign if you are getting positive tests still 😘
Waiting for & having scans are nerve wrecking; I worried at my 10 week scan due to spotting & my 12 week dating scan. I dare say I’ll worry again at my 20 weeks scan. But scans are hugely reassuring & it is wonderful to see your baby 😍
If you are feeling really anxious perhaps ask your clinic or GP to measure your HCG levels via blood test to put your mind at ease 😘
Wishing you the best with your pregnancy keep us posted ❤️xoxo
Even though you are using first urine of the day, there will still be different concentrations of hormones. No sample is ever exactly the same. I should take the other ladies’ viewpoints and wait until at least after 5 weeks. My hubby always says wait until there actually is something for certain to worry about. Until then enjoy the lack of something certain. Sometimes this infuriates me but sometimes it really helps. x
