Anyone got pregnant at 6 months post partum?

Anyone got pregnant after 6 months and how was you and baby? Just spoke with gp and she said I should wait a year... Anyone got stories?

Hi, I am sure there are some people on this forum who can help but you might be better posting this in the NCT forum. This forum is typically for women struggling to conceive and whilst sometimes that is secondary infertility there aren't many of us on here who have had even one natural conception let alone trying for our second! one of my friends gave birth to her baby in february 2019 and unfortunately the baby passed away after 5 days. She got pregnant again in november 2019 and now they have 2 healthy twin babies. It is not 6 months, but I guess every case is different.

Omg that is so sad! 😭 But I'm happy to hear she had twins. You don't want that happen to people you know and even for strangers that I don't know I still feel for them being a mom of two. Poor soul

What caused the baby to pass away?

Yeah it was terrible, but they are in a good place now . It was a heart condition that nobody was able to predict

My sister was pregnant 5 mths after her first it took her over a year to conceive her first so didn’t think it would happen quickly but wanted them close together if possible. Pregnancy and baby was fine no problems. Lots of people have babies close together with no issues usually after a section they like you to wait longer for scaring to heal etc
