Frozen Transfer - final shot 3bcc

Hey Everyone,

I’ve just had my final transfer (frozen) using my grade 3BCC embryo. I’ve been told it under 5% of this working, but miracles do happen so why not try !

I’m 4dp5dt , testing day …wait for it ……

Friday the 13th 😬 (might do it the day before) 🤣

At the moment, no symptoms , apart from right sore boob(but it’s the same soreness I get when I’m due on) I have cysts in the same area by the side of right boob, so it’s probably just the cysts rather than anything positive.

No implantation bleeding or cramps.

Any successes from grade 3BCC ? I’m 37 in Oct x

Wishing you lots of baby dust x

Good luck! My sister was told she had a 7% chance of ivf working and on her 4th transfer it did. Not sure on grade but even when the odds are against you, miracles do happen! Wishing you the best 💕

No success for me either with any grade of embryo. I think pregnancy is possible with all kinds of grades though.

Best of luck with everything! X

My best friend is pregnant right now with a 3CC embryo. My doctor (& hers) don’t believe grading has anything to do with success rate if it is a C or above. For C and above, it’s really just a beauty contest. I wonder what the 5% odds they have given you were actually based on 🤔. They do not seem accurate to me, given your age. Should be around 25% each FET.

Wishing you the absolute best of luck! You have the same chances as the next person. It all comes down to a bit of luck, I think. xx 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Agree with this! Where the heck did the 5% come from?

I like your attitude .. positivity is important in this journey. Best of luck to you. If the grade is good enough to transfer its most definitely good enough to make it! Try and hold off testing early, keep going. And hopefully Friday 13th is an amazing day for you x

Good luck! I’m 7dp5dt no symptoms and have a 3BB on board my clinic said that it was a very good embryo?? Seems similar to yours so not sure why they give those odds? Xx

I’ve heard quite a few anecdotes of 3BC becoming a viable pregnancy when other higher graded embryos have failed to take, so I do think you should take the stats you’ve been given with a big grain of salt. Can I check what the extra C means? I always understood it to just be 2 letters plus the number!

Tbh I’m not 100% sure why she said it was 3BCC because it’s not heard of. She said something like if it’s between a c/d they grade it CC. X

I remember your story from your fresh round a couple of months ago and it's so lovely to hear that your embryo defrosted well! That's so important! I've heard of clinics warning people that their embryo is low quality and may not survive the freezing and thawing process. Only good embryos can be frozen so yours must be strong and have a good chance in succeeding. I really don't understand the 5% success rate the clinic has given you. I have everything crossed for you! Xx

Thank you so much, it’s so confusing when my clinic would class 3BCC a poor embryo, but other clinics would grade them good , well I’m

6dp the transfer and no symptoms really , same as before so I don’t think it’s worked but still got 5 more days to go so I’m hanging in there 🙈 x

I don't believe symptoms mean anything in infertility treatment. Are you taking progesterone and oestrogen supplements? If so you could say either way. If you have lots of symptoms it's likely to be the supplements. If you have no symptoms it means you are tolerating the supplements and have a nice balance between progesterone and oestrogen. If you are not taking any supplements it is also good news because loads of women have absolutely no symptoms in the run up to a positive pregnancy test (and some have loads- it's completely random). And when I had BFPs in the past I never had implantation bleeding. Hang in there! Distract yourself with lots of nice things. Good luck! Xx
