Hi folks. Please how did you remove pubic hair during pregnancy? It's getting like Amazon down there and the thought of the ouch of waxing gives me the shivers. I am on blood thinner worried about going selfie with shaving stick.
Did anyone wax and did it trigger any abdominal pain?
Sorry if it is gross question but I only do realities

I usually wax every 6 weeks, including brows and brow tint, but haven’t since finding out my transfer was a success. I’m scared to go, so was going to wait to reach the second trimester when the babies are a bit stronger (🤞🏻🤞🏻). No other reason that I’m just scared to do anything at the moment. With my first pregnancy that ended in a MMC, I had a wax at 8 weeks and generally wasn’t as careful as I am being now - I think that’s one of the reasons I’m so scared and nervous to do anything that may cause discomfort or upset me in some way!
I’m also on a lot of blood thinners so avoid shaving! I do however prune … 😂 just to keep it tidy. I mean, there’s no way I’m letting my husband anywhere near me for a little while anyway so I’ve got breathing space… but each scan at the clinic, I do feel like apologising as I’m usually well kept! 🤣🤣
Anyway, hopefully others will tell you it’s absolutely fine and not to worry! Xx
Sorry ladies, love this question too.. but i wouldn't get any of that horrible chemical stuff anywhere near my vagina, especially while pregnant! Either go natural and enjoy the amazonic lusciousness or use razor with mirror?
I had waxing all the way through my pregnancy from the get go, I was then due my waxing a day after I actually gave birth cause my little girl came early so when I actually gave birth god knows what the state of it was- but I didn’t care ha ha x
I shaved a bit. Not perfect as one can't see with the bump getting in the way but doesnt need to be all clear. Just a tidy up with a few delicate strokes of razor will do to make one look and feel more comfortable
This made me laugh so much 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve stopped everything down there once I found out 🤣🤣🤣 then when I had scan day the other I panicked….. shaved a bit ….. but was glad it was two female nurses in end and they didn’t bat an eyelid 🤣 I had recently done ‘a good job’ down there so mine wasn’t too bad 🤣🤣🤣…. I mostly use cream
Anyway but am scared of the chemicals at the minute . Just trim
And shave carefully if you can if it’s stressing you out! I asked my husband to trim it and he refuses and said these people
See thousands of last bits every day who cares 🤣💐🤪
I tried shaving, last time around week 15 ish. It hurt!! So I've given up. I was trimming it back using nail scissors to try and keep on top of it but now I can't see it so I'm going natural. The midwives won't care, my husband is stuck with me either way so I'm just rolling with it!
I would say get your husband to give it a trim. Lol!!! I would stay away from chemicals and boy oh boy when I get waxed it’s never relaxing. So for me I would be scared— lol! If anything let it grow: I heard it’s good during pregnancy to get infections out and away from there abs baby. 🤣🤣🤣
Good point Hun. No husband here. Only one nearby is 10 year old. She will pass out if I even imagined it. I will just keep washing everytime I wee. I don't like wee on hair
I wouldn't worry about that! Nobody cares as long as you have a shower 😃 I'm the other way round, if I shave and go to scans I feel naked and somehow it's more intimate. My hair covers my modesty I guess 😂 old fashion me
Me it's for hygiene as I wee a lot and don't think the wipes can wipe it all off.
I remember when I did my transfer, the date was communicated wrong so by the time we realised I had to.catch flight in 6 hours. No grooming. By the time they finished transfer, I was hung their everything facing the universe and any one who was in theatre. I was glad I had enough bush to hide me
I used Veet as I was also on blood thinners but usually just tidied everything up with small scissors. I was told not to do anything before my cesarian because of risk of infection but I still tidied it up a bit. When I got to theatre the nurse got out an electric razor and I remember being beyond mortified (my OH still thinks it’s hilarious because I always say that was the worst part of the whole day🙈😂) x
