So we had our FET on Friday and basically had a super chilled morning then straight after transfer got a stressful call about a family matter had to run for a train stand on a sweaty train for ages walk to another train then get a train back tube walk and another tube. Basically did 12,000 steps and didn’t sit down for the 6 hours after transfer. I genuinely feel like the embryo fell out with all the movement (I know that isn’t possible!). I had planned bed rest but have never had such a busy, stressful day and am so annoyed about the situation and feel like it’s all been such a waste. Especially as I’ve had zero symptoms I feel like this has caused it to not work 😔 anyone out there that didn’t rest after transfer, had zero symptoms and still got a BFP? Feel like I’m out already and it’s only 3dp5dt 🙄

No rest transfer day!
Here’s an excerpt from an IVF babble article with the director of the clinic I went to. I remember being cross at myself for running for a train the following morning but bed rest isn’t proven to help.
Q: Once your embryo transfer has taken place, what is the procedure for the TWW? Should you continue with your normal lifestyle or are you required to be more stationary? Thank you!
A: Don’t be stationery. I gave a talk at the annual training course on embryo transfers and looked at the recent research and there is good evidence that the old recommendation of bed rest may in fact decrease the success rate. So live life as normal.
Hello love, I had the transfer day FROM HELL two weeks ago. Like it could not have been worse, just a total nightmare of conflict and stress, we almost cancelled. But I just got my BFP yesterday and while I've recently miscarried and I'm not holding my breath so to speak (knowing it can go away at any moment) at least the awful day did not impact implantation. I didn't have any symptoms at all for at least the first week. I felt really tired recently but it could have easily just been from the stress of it all. (I did however take four days off after the transfer, but the day itself until the evening was a total nightmare, could not have been worse or less restful.) xo
Hi hun, try not to worry. I went straight back to work after my transfer and never sat down all day, as I work as a teacher. X
There is actually research that says it's better to ecercise after a transfer than to rest!

There are loads of studies that say it doesn't make any difference either way.
Bed rest is old news and not really recommended anyway!
You'll be absolutely fine!! That embryo will be in there doing its best to implant. Hopefully all the things are aligned and it works for you! If it doesn't, it wasn't the moving that did it! Try to relax now and enjoy being PUPO!
This is so helpful thank you! I can let go of the guilt now! I told my friend and she said think of all the fresh blood pumping round your body. Need to flex those positive thoughts 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
How you feeling now? Are you 6dp? When is OTD? X
Hey LSandJ yes 7dp5dt tomorrow! Haven’t had anything apart for the odd very minor cramp here and there. No bloating/sore boobs/tiredness/nausea etc. so not holding much hope but not over till the red lady sings! Going to test on Sunday (9dp5dt) then going for a beta test Monday to see if I need more progesterone injections as they run out on Sunday. The lack of symptoms is naaat helpful but I’ve sort of made my peace with it not working so will be a nice surprise if it does!
