Recurrent implantation failure specialist London recommendation?

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing ok. I was wondering if someone could recommend a consultant who specialises in recurrent implantation failure based in or near London UK? Pls PM me as I know we can’t advertise clinics here.

I’ve got a long story in my profile bio but in brief we’ve transferred 10 embryos in 6 transfers - most recently 2 great DE blasts and previously 8 OE embryos of varying quality from day 3 to great looking day 5 blasts. I’d like to do some more tests before we try again.

Any experience and thoughts you guys have would be welcome reading too for myself or anyone else who searches for RIF in future xx

I would recommend having an ERA test as I'm sure this made a huge difference for us and I'm hearing more and more of others having success afterwards too. Sorry to hear of your recent failure especially after making the difficult jump from OE to DE. Massive hugs.xxx

Hi Cinders! An ERA is definitely on my radar. I was also thinking hysteroscopy as have had polyps removed a few years ago.

How are you doing? How big are the twins now? Xx

Just wondering if your embryos were genetically tested?

Hi Leo, no we haven’t done PGTA or any testing on the embryos as we’ve never produced more than 2 per cycle and just go ahead and transfer, never had any to freeze. I know this probably indicates quality issues especially with our sperm dna frag issues. It’s a tricky one that decision, I’m always so keen to get pregnant I want the embryos back immediately but taking the time to diagnose might tell us more.

So we still got loads to try before your next cycle:)

Steroids, aspirin, antibiotics, intralipids, probiotics…

I am currently trying to investigate recurrent implantation failure. Having never had a pregnancy or a whiff of a positive test. I am sure we are missing something.

I did do a series of testing which I will message you. Might be worth ticking of your list.

The additional ones are the throblastogram and the KIR

It’s a little expensive but once we know you are ok then it’s down to the embryos (process of elimination and all)

Best of luck- going to dig out that list and message you

Those 2 are both things that I feel are overlooked. I had mine done in London...happy to share who did it. Hysteroscopy, hmmm I'm not so sure I'd jump for that but certainly worth considering if you have had past issues.....guess it depends on cost.In doing ok, boys are doing really well thank you.xx
