Long Protocol Day 4

I started taking buserelin on Saturday and not to be TMI but I’ve started having loads of discharge is this a normal response?

Also what are you experiences on how long you wait for period to start?

Bit nervous as did short protocol last time so feel like it’s all new again and just like us all desperately want it to work.

Thanks in advance and good luck to you all x

Hi IMax. Excess discharge can happen and is OK providing it's not smelly. Can take 7-14 dys for your next stage to be3gin, so try not to worry. You will feel a bit down whilst on the Buserelin, but you will feel better once the stims start. Good luck! Diane

Hiya hun. I can’t comment on Buserelin, but I’ve been on some really really low-dose stims and I found that I had way more CM than usual - throughout the cycle. No odour to it, just loads more and slightly yellow (hubby even noticed while DTD!). I wasn’t expecting it, so googled it and apparently it’s due to the increase in hormones which triggers for your body to secrete more CM. Like Diane says, okay unless it develops an odour.

Good luck with the journey 🤞🏼🌺
