Weaning off steroids

Just wondered if anyone knows the protocol for coming off 20mg steroids after a BFN I’ll have been on them for just over 3 weeks.

Absolutely gutted that we’ve had another negative after 9 transfers really questioning whether this is ever going to work for us 😟

How much to prescribe should depends on your NK cells level, how high it is over the normal range and the lab will use your blood with steroids at different doses to see how much active NK cells can be reduced in killings. The doctor should prescribe you the correct doses by these results. If you took steroids for more than 3 weeks, you will write off 5mg every 5 days. Usually also need to have Intralipid infusion.

Hi Core. So sorry to hear this. My thoughts are, that I would take the steroid every other day for a week, then 3 times a week, twice a week and stop. Good luck! Diane
