Hi, I'm starting progynova tomorrow ready for my first FET. I found when I did the fresh round that I got quite anxious and stressed in the 2ww.
I'm sure I've read on here that people have used some mindfulness or meditation apps while going through IVF. Has anyone got any recommendations for which apps to use?

I liked Mindful IVF. There is also a non-IVF app called Mindset that has some great sessions for anxiety. Otherwise, as much distraction as you can! For my last round, I read Marisa Peer's book 'Trying to get pregnant (and succeeding)' and found the switch in mindset to expecting a baby from hoping for one actually very calming. Her rationale is it is going to hurt like hell emotionally if it doesn't work whether you expected success or not, and in expecting it to work one might actually help to bring about success. Hard to explain it any further than that - you'd need to read it - but it did bring me peace 'knowing' either this round or another was going to work. xx
That's perfect and so helpful, thank you. I've just ordered the book so I'll start reading it this week. Yes I definitely need to keep myself distracted, and I'm going to take a few days off work to try and stay stress free! Xx
Also I talked to bean all the way through 2ww, sometimes aloud and sometimes in my head. I felt so silly to start with and didn't know what to say but then it just became quite natural after a couple of days. xx
I’ve done this during this TWW too… I’d say night night and morning to the beans! And talk as if I was already pregnant - kind of has helped me enjoy the TWW more than usual! Xx
I'm at the same stage as you and have just started my progynova for first FET following a failed fresh transfer. I am also already dreading the 2ww. I convinced myself that the way I felt made it fail. Good luck with everything, I will try some of the suggestions you have received xx
God I'm so glad I'm not alone just reading these makes me feel better going through this. I've started the progynova today and feel so anxious about it sorry to jump on old thread
I use the Daily Yoga app. I use it for yoga on a normal basis to help minimise my stress, and once I start a cycle I move to using the meditation. They have short sessions 10-20 minutes which encourages me to continue even on busy days.
Try Boho Beautiful Yoga meditation videos on YouTube. Her voice and her meditations are amazing and she's helping me a lot during my 2WW, i'm currently 5dp5dt. Good luck!
Hey! I downloaded Rita West app & tried to watch comedies. My acupuncturist told me laughing really helps implantation. I laughed quite hard - it worked 😊. Wishing you all the luck in the world! X
Someone suggested to me to read or download via audible, ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne. The film is also on Netflix! I think basically it’s about the power of positive thinking. Lots & lots of luck to you. x
