Due a frozen transfer on Tuesday and come down with an awful head cold. tested negative for covid though will do another. Now panicking..if I'm still feeling rubbish will it ruin success chances? Maybe they'd say not to go ahead if I'm under the weather...anyone had similar? Thank you

I came down with an awful cold the evening of my ET (ie 6 hours after). I felt so ill for 5 days but no real change in temp, maybe 0.2C, and not COVID. So stuffy and sneezy then coughing and felt really rough. I really though it ruined my shot but got my first ever BFP. I’m now 8+3. You’ll be over the worst by Tues and feeling naff might make you take it easier! Xx
I think as long as you don’t have a fever it won’t impact. I trawled the internet when I was ill for positive stories and found loads of people who got heavy colds and BFPs. Just be careful taking medication as some colds meds aren’t good to take around a transfer xx
Hi Ttcbythesea. Oh dear, not nice. You should be quite sate to carry on with your transfer tomorrow. Paracetamol are safe to take too, if you need to. Good luck! Diane
