Hi, just wondering how many times a day did you all use crinone gel? Was it once or twice? Xx

Twice, morning and night at same time. Eg 9am and

9pm

Do u know why some people are on one and others two? Am only on one and wondering why? Wonder if there would be any harm to upping it to two a day xx

Just roll with whatever your clinic tells you. You will not have enough if you double, did you ask about your dose? I can’t remember what dose mine are. Every clinic does their own thing

I was put on one morning dose on my fresh transfer.

My clinic normally prescribes 3 X utrogestan or 2x cyclogest but I was sick and tired of having to use it three times and day and have to lie down so I just asked if there was a progesterone pessary that only had to be taken once a day and got prescribed Crinone.

I came off it at 8 weeks and no problems so far.

I was also prescribed Crinone Gel twice daily before my transfer. I had a blood test to check progesterone level on the day of my transfer and based on this was told to add in a Lubion injection once daily. I was told to stay on all of these until 14 weeks. I’m just finishing weaning off them now (reduced the doses gradually) at 16 weeks. All has thankfully gone well.

I use only in the morning. Crinone 8%

I use twice a day, and the timing has to be within 12 hours. Whenever I am slightly off timing, I’ll start bleeding.
