Period or spotting?

Hi all.

I am very confused. Flustered and angry too. I have been waiting for my period to start for 10days now. I'm on a pill, not pregnant. I have been spotting for 4 days now. When does spotting become a period? I wiped once and there was red blood but then nothing on the pantry liner apart from a few brown sports...

With my first day of bleed I'm supposed to start prostap. Have I missed my first day? Is it still coming? Honestly, after 20years of having period I never thought I would be that confused!

Hi lovely, argh it is so frustrating. I have found that my periods are similar at the moment. They’re so light and not much in the way of red blood, so I’ve been taking it that the first bit of actual red blood (even though it’s just a small bit when I go to the loo) as the first day. Xx

It's so frustrating. We have no control over our own bodies! I will need to see what he opens today. It's already soon late!

Thank you. I started full period and prostap injection. Things start to happen... 🤞🤞

Mine are like this as well, I think it may be linked to Covid jabs. I don't think you have missed day one, even if you just have one day of red bleed thats enough. I probably wouldn't count day one as a day when you just wipe red, you definitely need enough of something to warrant a pad/tampon x

Thank you. It started today. After week and a half. Straight into a full blow. I thought it could be the jab as I had mine 2 weeks ago...

We are the same mine period started yesterday with spotting and I thought ok maybe tomorrow I will have a full flow to call my clinic to start with my frozen Embrayo transfer but to my surprise today is still the same thing and I am supposed to call on the first day of my period and it is weekend now I hope that by Monday that it will not be too late for me to start I have been on artificial menopause for 3 month now due to treatment for my adenomyosis I just stopped the treatment on Tuesday this is sooo crazy

I was spotting for 4 days but that's normal with me. I started fool flow yesterday after that post. Typical. I feel your pain. I've been on artificial menopause 3 years ago for 6 months. That was mental. I had all the symptoms, insomnia, hot flushes, anger, lost of appetite... I thought my partner would leave me and I would not blame him. This time it's going to be only 2 weeks...

I have done the prostap injection last night and I have a scan on 2.07. then should get dates for the frozen transfer!

The menopause thing is soo crazy this is my 3rd artificial menopause 1st time for 3 months 2017 got my daughter from it 2018 2nd time 2020 4 months but Embrayo did not inplant 3 time change of drugs 3 months 2021 I hope the Embrayo inplant this time this would be my 8th transfer 5th eggs collections 3 natural pregnancy that ended in miscarriages. My period has totally stopped today I only had just 2 days of spotting I don’t understand it at all I hope my clinic can still do something tomorrow when I call to explain things to them this is my last Embrayo with them and am 42 years old. Hope everything work out for both of us and all the beautiful people going through this journey

That's a long way to go. You have a lot of strength in you 💪 I hope all goes well for you. It's crazy how our bodies do whatever they want for no reason. It's our 1st FET after successful fresh cycle. Sending baby dust your way 💓

Just wanted to update you had an echo and Blood work today and the doctor called to say I can’t start with this period that I was too late so now I have to wait for my end July period this made me abit sad as I was really looking forward to starting with this period after waiting for 7 months
