Has anyone taking DHEA for IVF had strong reaction ??

Hi everyone. Hope you’re all doing well. I took DHEA for about 3 weeks in preparation for IVF cycle. I started noticing strange movement in my ovaries, greasy spotty chest and thinning hair!

Has anyone else had this before and was big cycle successful?

Hi hun, I took dhea for about 3 months, hard to say if I’ve got hair thinning as I got thick hair anyway 😫

From time to time I got tingles and twinges in my ovaries but nothing painful. I got bit spotty on my neck / back area.

Hi! I took DHEA for 3 months before my ivf cycle and didn’t notice any symptoms. From my cycle I got 3 5 day blastos and 2 resulted in my beautiful daughter and son xx

Yes! My hair fell out, I was really greasy and I had terrible insomnia

I put it down to the fact DHEA wasn't needed and was giving me too much testosterone and so was negatively impacting me. I stopped and all symptoms disappeared. I suggest you speak to your consultant or stop as you may be doing more harm than good x
