Meds after EC advice

Hi everyone, just after a little bit of advice. So from tomorrow (day after egg collection), I am to take aspirin, pessaries, a Prontogest injection (every other day) & a Enoxaparin injection daily. I know when to take the pessaries as I am to take them 3 times a day and plan to take the aspirin every morning, but any advice on when to take the Prontogest and the Enoxaparin would be greatly appreciated, as in morning or evening? I had prontogest every other day, I took it in the morning normally about 11am. I don’t think it really matters when you decide to take it as long as you are fairly consistent every day

So if you decided to do it at 6pm then try and stick to that time.

I haven’t taken the other one so can’t comment

Oh great, thanks so much! Yes that makes sense 👌🏻Does it hurt? My clinic warned me this one is quite a painful one? Thanks again! X

It does to start with, you will need to get someone else to do it for you. My nurse told me to slightly heat the vial, so either roll it gently in your hands, or put it in your bra for half an hour.

As it’s every other day I did alternate bum cheeks that way your not getting too bruised on the one side.

I absolutely hate needles and I survived 12 weeks 👍
