Feeling positive after EC

Hi,

I had my EC today and they managed to retrieve 13 eggs - they’re going on to do ivf rather than ICSI, and I’ve got excited nerves for tomorrow’s call to find out how many fertilise 😬

We’ve got so much further than our last ivf cycle when it got cancelled at day 7 of stimms due to poor response.

I’m just hoping and praying that my little eggs do me proud 🤞

Feeling pretty battered and bruised right now, but resting up as much as possible.

Keeping fingers crossed for everyone going through their ivf cycles at the moment too. And I’m so sorry to all who haven’t had successful cycles.

I had my EC today too! Feeling very sore, but hoping it will all be worth it. Hope you get good news when they update you tomorrow.

I just got my phone call and 9 of my 13 fertilised 😁😁😁

I really am. Still can’t quite believe it. I know it’s early days still, but I’m still staying as positive and excited as I possibly can for my little embies ☺️

Hi, I had 7 eggs and 3 fertilized. We tranfered one after 5 days last Sat and froze the other good one. We got a bfp yesterday!

Could I ask why they said no more ICSI? ICSI can have higher success rates

They didn’t do icsi as hubbys sperm was of good quality so they just did ivf instead - I had 13 fertilised through this anyway, so was happy with that ☺️ xx

Otd is tomorrow. Still hanging in there, just. I’m so scared to test and find that it’s not worked 😢 xx
