Hi, I don’t know what I’m asking but hoping someone can give me some guidance / reassurance. We had our FET on 20 May and tested positive on 1st June. To say we are delighted is an understatement..... words cannot describe how I felt when we seen that positive result .....like most on here.... we have had our share of fertility problems.
I’m obviously very excited but very scared too..... I have really bad cramping in my tummy and lower back.... is this normal? It’s really sore and I just feel so tired / drained. I’m just scared that I’ll lose this little one as well.

Congratulations!! I had pretty strong period-like cramps throughout most of my first trimester and everything was consistently fine. I think a lot of the cramping was from my uterus expanding. Drinking more water did help some. I hope this provides you some relief, I know how hard it is to not worry after all of the infertility troubles. ❤️
I had intense cramping during my first trimester but I was told this is because in 12 weeks your uterus goes from the size of a Dorito to a grapefruit, it’s a rapid expansion in very little time, stay positive x
Hey. Congratulations! I also had a BFP on 31/5 from 2nd fresh cycle 5d transfer. I’ve had cramping too and have been paranoid that it’s all going to end. Every time I go to the loo, I’m convinced there’ll be blood! But apparently cramping is really common in first few weeks and it’s just our bodies adjusting. Best of luck for your pregnancy xx
Congratulations! Yes it’s totally normal to have cramping in early pregnancy. I know how disturbing it is though. I’m now 8 weeks tomorrow and yesterday had a lot of pain. Lots of hormones going on in your body right now x
I had pretty bad cramps all the way to second trimester. I was so worried all the time. I know it's scary but be assured that cramping is normal in first trimester. Drinking a lot of water when cramping helps a lot so stay hydrated. Best of luck, don't be scared. 🥰
I had mild period like pains up until about 16 weeks. Im now 20 weeks and all well so far. I was really worried as I'd had a miscarriage last year. Everyone kept telling me it was probably stretching but I wasn't convinced. Now my uterus has moved properly up I can feel the difference and it all makes sense. Wishing you the best for your scan 🤞 stay positive! xx
