I went for my day 14 stim scAn today, one follicle is 14mm one is 7mm and one is 6mm, we are going to do egg collection Friday for the larger follicle, what are the chances of the smaller follicles catching up by Friday and having an egg?
I want to be positive, but also realistic!
I’m 36, low AMH they have had to stim me longer than expected which I read isn’t great really. But anyone else been in this situation? X

Hi Gemstar .. I'm sorry to hear things haven't improved for you .. I had 2 x 12mm follicles but they didn't catch up by time ER came. Would you consider converting to IUI? .. we only did retrieval this cycle as we knew it would only cost us 1300e as we did it in Gennet prague .. but had I of cycled in Ireland it would have been 6k for this cycle and we had no egg in the follicle ... For next stim I am going to request letrozole and menopur and see how we go .. I hope whatever u decide it's a good outcome for u xx
Hi! I was in the same boat and was told they may have to cancel my egg retrieval if they didn't multiply and increase in size in a day and a half. And let me tell you I cried for that entire day and a half. The Dr said to just keep doing the shots and hope for the best and it did! I had 6 mature follicles, 3 of which survived fertilization. I'm on day 7 after my embryo transfer. So please try to stay positive. I know it's hard but it is possible for the follicles to grow. I'll keep my fingers crossed and keep you in my prayers.
