Hi everyone. 1DP 5DT today. Feeling so nervous. They transferred a 5AA embryo which was starting to hatch. I was very positive yesterday but have just had a call to say that the embryos left over were not suitable for the freezer. I’m now panicking about the embryo that has been put back inside me. All I keep reading on here is how 5AA’s have failed even though they are top quality. Does anyone have any success stories to put my mind at ease? Would be much appreciated 🤞xx

Hi
Over the three rounds we have done I learnt early on that the grading really means nothing, it is based on the embryologist opinion as to who’s looking at it (to put it in a nutshell)
There has been ladies on here who have had lesser grade embryos that have implanted and been a successful pregnancy.
All my own embryos have apparently been high grade being 5BBs or 3BBs and haven’t worked, they were clearly not viable embryos.
I can’t even remember what grade our donor embryo is (donor egg and husbands sperm) - it doesn’t really matter it implanted and I’m now 13 weeks + 2
It only takes one embryo, so don’t panic or worry - just relax and ride out the 2WW
Good luck 🤞
Hi lovely, I honestly wouldn’t take notice of the grading. The main thing is your little embryo is transferred and fingers crossed loves their new home. You will read different scenarios where all different grading high or low make it or don’t. Try and relax and a pre warn every woman is different in what symptoms that get or don’t get during the 2ww. My 2ww was symptomless and it worked xx
Hi sarahlouisey. At least that one is back inside you where he/she belongs. Keeping everything crossed for you. Diane
