low hcg levels @ 4 weeks

Hello all,

I got my BFP yesterday at 4 weeks (9dp5dt) and when I called my nurse to let her know she offered a blood test for the same day.

I got the result this morning and my hcg is only 20.

She also measured my progesterone. The day before transfer it was 182, yesterday it was 44.5. I am already on it pessaries but will be starting lubion asap (waiting for the text to order it)

does any body have a similar experience?

I will have my next blood test on Friday. We want it to be 80 but then if it’s going to double every 48 hours. On Friday I will be 4+4.

hi, ive had low levels with my successful and unsuccessful pregnancies so you’re def not out yet! Was it a FET? They do tend to start a bit slower. For my successful FET my numbers were: 47 @ 10dp5dt / 76 @ 12dp5dt. She’s now 6mo on Friday. At the time I posted worried and there were others with low 30s that were successful. You’ll only really know with the next test - I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you! X

Thank you. I took another pregnancy test today at 12dp5dt and it looks like it is getting lighter.

I haven’t seen your first but the line looks good for this early on. It also depends on what tests you’ve used (e.g. same both times) and which MU… the beta will tell you for sure though the wait is agonising i know. Will be thinking of you xx

here is a picture of all 4 tests. There just isn’t enough progression at all and todays test is definitely lighter than yesterdays.

It does look slightly lighter but you can see the progression if you look at it as 2 days. Have you had your beta results back?

I’m just waiting to do the blood test now. Will get results later today. But here is a pic of my tests this morning 💖

Yes to positivity (although easier said than done)!

I'm on a similar boat in terms of the timeline, getting my second beta tomorrow (14dp5dt) & hoping for a good increase but anxious.

so yesterday I did my second beta and it came back as 56.

My consultant and nurse don’t seem worried. They suspect my baby implanted late.

Third beta is Tuesday which will be 17dp5dt and 5+1 weeks. Praying for a big increase. Scan won’t be until early January,

Hello, so my 3rd beta was 269. The pregnancy tests continued to get darker and darker. We then had our first scan at 7w2d and unfortunately we were having a missed miscarriage. I miscarried naturally a week later. I heard so many success stories with low betas so please don’t give up hope. Sending love and hugs xx
