Nasal sprays= weight gain?

Hi all, I started my nasal sprays on Saturday for down regulation. This is my first time. My period would have been due in 2 days. Normally in the run up to my period I put on 2-4 pounds. I weighed myself and noticed the usual weight gain today. Is it normal to have your usual period symptoms while starting the sprays. I have an appt on 10th June and need to lose 7 pounds to get my bmi under 30. I was doing really well and then this morning 3 pounds on!

Hi, It's very normal to gain weight while taking nasal sprays and during stims. It's expected by the clinics and that's why they expect you to start with a healthy BMI so that its ok to gain a few pounds on the process.

Hi, I didn’t use nasal spray, but during my stims I took lots of weight on, I was so surprised, I was so careful with what o eat and how much. Now trying to loose all that!!!

Hi I'm worried about this as my bmi was 30.2 and I need to lose 5 pounds before my next appt. Agghh
