Whether to delay frozen transfer abroad??

Dear Ladies,

Looking for advice please:

We are about to go to Greece for our frozen transfer. I have already started to down regulate using prostap and had scans.

I’m worried about flight availability around 20th June and the huge cost of pcr tests for me and hubby - £1k at least and my work has told me time off would not be paid ...

My clinic is closed the whole of August, which puts me in a dilemma. Should I:

1) just go for June transfer as I’m already on the meds and risk getting / not getting flight?

2) defer for July and down regulate again with prostap end of next week, risk not getting a period and missing the window before august? Then having to wait until Sept / Oct. But I would be on my holidays and hoping Greece might be on the green list?

Do any ladies have any experience with prostap and cycles? What would 2 down regulating injections back to back likely do?

Im hating being on prostap and it’s driving me a bit nutty! Any help please?

🌺 xx

Hello,

We’re not in exactly the same boat but debating when to start our DE process in Spain. We’re provisionally booked for July but as the date approaches I’m getting more and more nervous about Spain still being amber ☹️

If it is we’ll be forced to delay. We’ve agreed that the whole thing is stressful enough ans we don’t need the extra stress of all the PCR tests and dealing with work if it is.

Best of luck to you 💗 xx

Thank you for your reply! We’re flying out this Sunday, we’re willing to do the pcr now as it’s gone down in price and I’m now worried about Europe banning the UK due to the Delta variant! Tickets are cheap at the moment, I don’t know if the price will shoot up once EU has a Green status! I think I’m just impatient and what to know if it works or not!! Good luck with what you decide 💖

I think between now and Sunday you’ll be absolutely fine regarding Europe letting people in. I think they’re desperate for visitors due to the economy! I’ll keep everything crossed for you 🤞🏻 Xx

Hello we have decided to put it off until September. Time to get our body’s as strong and fit as possible and to be honest the whole process is stressful enough without adding any extra crap on top of it xxx
