Morning lovely ladies, I am looking for advice or experiences . I am nearly 33 and I’ve been called up for my 1st Vaccine, I am pregnant with a IVF baby our little miracle. My feeling is I need to speak to my midwife first and wouldn’t feel comfortable until 20 weeks. Any other experiences or opinions?

Covid Vaccine
I had mine at 13/14 weeks. I had Pfizer and felt fine. Definitely speak to your midwife though and if you feel more comfortable waiting until 20 weeks then do that . How far along are you?
Just over 15 weeks, I’ve been having a lot of headaches recently too, so don’t really want to feel rubbish after having the jab. I work from home so pretty safe. It’s just my partner- but then he’s had his jab and he does tests through work. I feel quite anxious about it.
I’m 41 so was keen to get the vaccine as I felt more at risk. My midwife didn’t have too much to say on it when I asked her, but then the advice had only recently changed to recommending it in pregnancy so maybe yours will be more helpful! I have a 3 year old so worried about having to shield for the rest of my pregnancy as I want her to be able to mix with kids and get on with her life and I’d been very cautious throughout ivf and the first 12 weeks.
My first midwife appointment they never said anything - just gave me a leaflet to read on it.
I’m 41 and kept getting hassled by the GP surgery and the NHS, I was called early because I’m registered as having caring responsibilities for a family member.
I told them to take me off if the list, and I will call once the babies here.
Hi I came on here today to ask the same question but saw your post first. Really struggling on what to do. I am currently 18 weeks and had my first one booked for tomorrow but have cancelled last min. I am nervous about it. Very pro vaccine and if I wasn’t pregnant I wouldn’t even think about it but something is telling me to wait a bit longer maybe? I’m relatively low risk health wise 35, work from home and I do have asthma but well controlled. I asked my midwife and she couldn’t offer any advice. May ring the hospital as I have a consultant appointment coming up next month and they might be more forthcoming in offering advice?! Xx
I feel exactly the same, I’m the only one in the family that hasn’t had my vaccine and then I realised I would have to have both Covid vaccine 💉 and my Flu jab before baby’s come in November. I’m seeing my midwife next week and consultant end of June. It’s hard isn’t it.
