Hi, has anyone else had really slow stims?
I'm 37 and on my second cycle. Just had my day 10 scan and 6 follicles @ 8,11,12,14,15 and had my dosage increased on day 6 to 450 Meriofert.
The clinic want follicles at 17mm for egg collection. I have another scan on Wednesday to see if we can do egg collection on Friday.
Has anyone had really slow response and similar sizes and still had successful egg collection?
I had almost exactly the same response this morning! I'm 31, really low AMH. Went in for my day 10 this morning and had 5 follicles on my left ovary, and only 2 on my right measuring almost exactly the same as yours. Its my first cycle and i dont know what to expect but i feel so worried and hopeless at the moment.
Also hoping for a friday collection, fingers crossed for us both.

Since I posted I've been looking at where i was in my last round on day 10 and it was similar so, on reflection, i'm quietly confident they'll catch up by Friday now, I think I just panicked at first. I got 6 eggs first cycle and 5 were mature - so we're not out yet!
This is very reassuring, i am completely panicking. Also oddly panicking egg collection is on a Friday because if they don't do it that, do they need to wait till monday and then will they be over matured. As you can tell, i've really over thought this since this mornings scan!
Hi darkbuthappyplace. This happens unfortunately, they may need to increase your dose of stims, but they're getting there. Good luck! Diane
Hey I’m in the same boat! I’m on 300 meriofert which they told me was the max! I had three follicles first scan 10,11,6 and I was really sad. There had been some improvement but they were still saying might cancel. Had scan today 14 days and there has been a massive improvement and more eggs and growth. Maybe if egg collection is delayed give you more time! I am so surprised about how much has changed in a weeek. Think they grow .5-2mm in a day. Don’t give up hope xx
Thank you, that does give me hope, i didn't realise they could grow so much per day! I'll know this time tomorrow whether we're good to go or not so fingers crossed!
Hiya, did you have another scan today? how are your follicles doing? I am still really nervous, they are going to go ahead with egg collection on friday, but only 2 are over 18, so they were unsure. There are a few in the 15/16/17 but still concerned we're going to end up wiht 2 eggs
Hey, that sounds promising they might come on a little more over the next couple of nights so don’t lose hope.
I had my scan too and mine aren’t looking as good one, I have four possible at 17,16,14 and 12. So they’ve given me an extra dose of meriofert to do tonight then the trigger, so hoping that helps. I’m sure I had similar numbers last time (wish I’d written it down) but ended up with 6 eggs.
