Heart palpitations 6 weeks pregnant

Hey I know this sounds strange but last few days I have noticed that I can feel my heartbeat I can feel it fluttering like am aware of it.

Am 6 weeks 2 days pregnant today. Has anyone else felt this before or am I just strange haha x

Yes, I had the same. It started not long after I did my pregnancy test and carried on for 2-3 weeks. I read it’s because your body is trying to produce and pump much higher volumes of blood around the body. I think the stat was 50% more. Crazy! Congratulations on your pregnancy. 😀

Oh really how crazy!!! So am not strange then and it’s normal !! Haha. I was on the verge calling the Gp I feel bit dizzy too.

If you are unsure, it’s always best to air on the side of caution and call a GP to check. It can’t hurt and will also put your mind at rest. I’m saying it’s normal because it can be a common symptom of pregnancy but I also have no idea about your medical history so it’s best to seek advice from a professional. I’m nearly 14 weeks. Feeling slightly more relaxed having got past the 12 week scan. 😀

Aww yeah no I totally get that it must be just pregnancy if it gets worse I’ll call the Gp ❤️❤️ Congratulations 14 weeks amazing I can’t wait for that day haha xxx

I had hot flushes too aswel as palpitations
