I hope everyone is doing ok through these really unsettling times! I was lucky enough to get my BFP a couple of weeks ago on my first cycle, and obviously it’s a nerve wracking time anyway, especially at the moment! However, except for sore ish boobs, I have no symptoms at all and I was wondering whether this is normal for this stage? I was hoping (weirdly!) for morning sickness or something but honestly I have nothing! Just looking for reassurance I guess 😊
Thanks xx

Hi. I didnt have many symptoms neither other than migraines early on, boobs went down and sickness comes in waves. Trust me, you don't want it haha. Its disheartening when you dint feel anything though, I know how you feel. Have you got a scan booked soon xx
Thanks Florence, yes the scan is a week on Tuesday (31st) if it still goes ahead! I have no reasons not to believe I’m pregnant eg bleeding etc but it just feels weird not feeling anything! Good to know you were similar initially! Some of my friends say ‘they just knew’ they were pregnant and had loads of signs so I’m trying to block them out for now haha 🙄 I think with IVF babies we’re all just a little more paranoid!! Xx
Fingers crossed the scan goes ahead, if not could you could look at a private scan. Yeah it's such a weird feeling when you get a positive but have no symptoms. When I fell naturally 2 years ago I just knew, but that was my boobs telling me. This time it's the progesterone with the boobs haha. Xx
Some women have symptoms from the get go, others experience nothing. I had sore boobs, but had to push down on them to feel this. Throughout my whole first trimester the only other symptom I had was that I was sick twice. That’s about it! To reassure myself I would just tell myself you’re not bleeding so everything must be fine’, of course women don’t bleed and have problems but it helped me so much.
It’s so difficult not to worry when you don’t have any symptoms, I was a wreck until week 12, but of course each stage of pregnancy comes with it’s own worries. This is especially true for IVF pregnancies as we really had to work for it and have so much invested.
The scan is on the 31st and I’ll feel a lot better after that I think! 😊 thanks for your reassurance it definitely helps speaking to people who have been through it! Xxx
8 more days to go, yeah! Of course it helps to speak to people, when I was pregnant I told my best friend as she had just had a baby and could help me calm my nerves. She was there through each step.
This app/ site is helpful to a point, but you alway have to remember that the majority of ladies on here are here as they need help and sometimes that is when they have been through awful losses. Sometimes we can read positive stories, but many of the women who are lucky enough to get pregnant and have no problems generally disappear from here. You always need to remember this.
My first pregnancy (1st cycle worked) I had no symptoms either just needing to see a lot a tired. My daughter is nearly 6 now. I am also pregnant again nearly 10weeks and same this time, no signs other than needing the toilet more and tiredness. Maybe it’s all the meds we’re on too? Good luck and try not to worry, I know it’s hard but just wait to see baby at your scan soon. Did you have a seven week scan?x
I didn't feel sick until just after 7 weeks...it's coming in waves ...eating lil bits strangely helps...but tiredness is there...having loads of afternoon naps...my energy levels are amazing usually...but got none.
Fingers crossed you'll be fine xxx good luck with the scan
Ah congratulations and thank you for the message. It definitely makes me calmer knowing I’m not alone with the lack of symptoms ha. I wish you a lovely pregnancy xx
