Results from 2nd beta blood test are in!

Hi ladies,

Went for my repeat blood test today and the clinic left us waiting all day for results - it’s been agony and my husband and I have been besides ourselves with worry!

Thankfully it’s very good news. Last weeks hcg was 751. This weeks is 17,549!

Got a week 7 scan booked 15th August. So excited!

Just wanted to say thanks to all for continued support and well wishes and to those earlier on in their journey - don’t give up hope!

Yay what wonderful news! Worth the agonizing wait but cruel of them to keep you waiting!

How many days post transfer did you have your first beta test? Did you have a frozen transfer? How many days was the embryo? I'm trying to figure out when most people have their beta tests done. Best of luck with the scan xx

I had two frozen embryos transferred on 11th July. Both were day 5 blastocyst from my egg retrieval last year.

So I am 19 days past transfer. My first blood test and pregnancy test was on 23rd July, 12 days past transfer. Thank you for the well wishes - we will be nervous for the scan, but hopefully this is our time and all will progress well this time. X

Thank you. We won’t know until the scan on 15th August, but we did have two embryos transferred and with my levels being so high, it’s definitely a possibility!
