Day 6 FET! Help!

Hi everyone! Please can someone help. I am on a medicated FET. I had a scan on day 13 of my cycle and my endometrium was 10.8mm. I am booked for my day 6 embryo transfer on wed 28th and I started progesterone on Friday (which will be 5 days before the transfer.) I’m panicking now as shouldn’t I have started the progesterone 6 days before? I did ask the nurse and she said no but she wasn’t very good and I think was quite new to it all.

I don't think you need to worry, I'm sure they've got it right. I had a 5 day embryo transferred on Wednesday the 14th and started my pessaries on the Sunday night before. I got a BFP yesterday.

No because the day embryo should have developed by day 5 and be a day 5 embryo. It needed an extra day (which is fine) but it’s still classed as a day 5. I hope that makes some kind of sense?!

Hi, I also have some day 6 blastocyst in the freezer and from what I read, it is very important they do the transfer on day 5 or your endometrium would not be in sync and your chances of it implanting would be massively reduced. Best of luck on your transfer and could you please let us know how you got on as there isn’t much on day 6 FET transfers on here. Sending you baby dust xx

I’m due to be having a day 6 embryo transferred today I asked the lady about timings and she said that a day 6 embryo is treated the same as a day 5 xxx
