Hey, fingers and toes crossed it’s 7th time lucky 🍀
Have you had any tests or investigations to determine by you may be experiencing repeat implantation failure? I’ve just had my third transfer end in a chemical which is the furthest we’ve gotten with IVF, and we are having genetic testing of both me and my husband and I’m also having a hysteroscopy. I know other women on here have had further tests such as immunology and ERA - have you explored these?
If they never suggested any tests, then they have no way of figuring out what the problem is. It could be abnormal embryos due to egg or sperm issues, it could be something completely different. Either way, I would do some basic investigation and tests before blindly going into more transfers. Good luck!
I’m surprised you’ve not been offered further testing and I would definitely push for this because it may uncover something that can be treated with a slight tweak to your meds.
My doctor personally doesn’t believe that NK cells impact implantation and it is controversial within the fertility field, and whilst on this occasion we are trusting our doctor and therefore not testing for that, I do agree with the others in that it’s something worth exploring if all other tests come back normal. I’ll certainly be pushing for it if my 4th transfer doesn’t work.
Do you mind me asking what your amh is, and whether your partners sperm has come back normal?I had an amh of 16.5 at 36 years old and had loads of early miscarriages/chemicals. But it didn't make sense because our results always came back fine... I got tested for nk cells and it worked for us. I always had a feeling it was my body rejecting the pregnancies rather than the embryos not being viable.
If your amh is good, and no issues with partner, could be worth looking into immunology,x
