NHS funding question - help please!

Hi ladies, I received an email from the hospital saying that we passed the eligibility assessment and that we will now be assessed for funding.

What does it mean?

It’s normally to do with the amount of money your specific NHS trust has for IVF - you might meet the criteria but then there is likely a limit of how many couples can access the funding per year so they’ll be assessing wait lists and clinics which you’ll be able to choose from

The eligibility criteria will be the overall NHS ones and then funding is decided by your specific Clinical Care Group which might have additional criteria or have no money at all so it’s still possible - have you checked what area you are in - they usually say somewhere on their websites what they offer?

They should offer one fresh and one frozen transfer. I am just wondering if we will not be eligible for them and why 🤷🏻‍♀️ They will get back to me in 2 weeks time. Thank you!
