First consultation

Morning ladies.

I have my very first consultation today.

I've waited 15 months for this moment but I'm so nervous.

I've been told by a few people that the next stages can take up to a hear I've already waited nearly 2 years for this

Can anyone give me any advice on what to expect today please? It's via video call for the first consultation

Hey! I’m not sure as it’s via video call but our first consultation was just history taking (for you and your partner) and blood work. It was about an hour. They will explain the next processes.

It really is so useful as it’s hard at the beginning to understand the terms, the different tests and protocols.

I would recommend to read through some of the relevant sections after your consultation, and you’ll see by the time your start your first round you will have read it all (many times).

Hi Smp25Make sure you have pen & paper handy- it will be history taking of you & your partners medical history You could maybe write down some of this prior to the call.

You will be told your next step and if your not sure ask questions They may also give you a contact number for your next step - bloods, swabs and ultra sound etc .

Be sure to know your ht & wt
