Consultation tomorrow. Advice needed

Hi everyone. I’m hoping for some advice regarding my follow up iui consultation. I’ve had 3 rounds of iui already and all ended in bfn. It was a 3 cycle package and tomorrow is my follow up consultation. I’m hoping to just go onto another 3 rounds but they said I need to speak to the consultant first. Have any of you ladies got any advice on what to ask or check with them, also what they might ask me? Or any success stories for iui this far in? I’m 33 years old with no know fertility issues, im in a same sex relationship hence the iui. Reading all your stories has given me hope so far, you are a very strong bunch of ladies.

Hi, I have never done iui, but have they checked that your tubes are ok? If not it might be worth checking. Xx

I’ve just had bloods and an ultrasound, no other tests. Il ask them. Thanks for replying

It’s quite an easy procedure, they put water with microscopic bubbles into your uterus whilst the scan you and they hope to see on the scan if it flows through your tubes. Other than that, then it seems it would make sense for you to try more iui before anything more invasive like ivf. Good luck with it all xx

I had mine on the nhs but I feel like I’ve seen it privately for around £400 to 500.

Your clinic sounds similar to mine and your story..... I just wanna be a single mum.... I would have that consultation as if no fertility issues like myself they need to do some digging pm me if you want hun xxx
