No period after 2 weeks of stopping progesterone gel. Anyone else had the same experience?

I just finished my first IVF cycle (which ended with a BFN, 14dp5dt), and I haven’t gotten my period after stopping the progesterone gel for 2 weeks! I’m v sure I’m not pregnant because I have been testing every 2 days (and stopped after one week), and other than being bloated, I’m feeling like normal and my period is still not here! I’m anxious to get it (a love hate relationship now) cause that means I can start a fresh cycle soon, and of course the longer it takes to come, the longer I have to wait. My gynae just says due to hormonal imbalance I just have to wait it out, but it’s been so long! Anyone else had the same experience before and how did it take?
