Hello, I’ve had to previous cycles where I have always started my period just before my test date during my two week wait.
I’m about to start another cycle and my clinic have suggested to the exact same of the progesterone front just to use the pessaries. Has anyone else had this and been advised to take more or had checks during two week wait?
Thanks Hannah

Hey Marchie I’m interested in this too as it happened to me last cycle... I have just started my TWW and raised it with my clinic but they just said it’s very common and to stick to the 2 pessaries a day. The nurse then said they’d only look into it if it happened 3 or 4 times. Ridiculous. Hopefully one of the girls on here can tell us more.
Thanks hun I’m going toPush my clinic today as this is our last cycle (no4) so I want to try anything we can. They always just want to do the same which is annoying
Hi Marchie this happened to me this week on my first cycle. I’m already on the lubion injections but I might ask about pessaries on top if this has been suggested for you. I have my test tomorrow but obviously I know the outcome. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome for you on your next cycle x
I had this and clinic changed brand, dose and at my request increased the pessaries to 3x a day. They can say no but you always have the right to ask for what you want in your treatment xx
Hey there, I bled before the 2 ww the first time, consultant didn’t want to increase pessaries for the second transfer, however I spoke with a nurse re my concerns, she thought valid , discussed with another consultant and they doubled the pessaries but unfortunately I still bled before 2 ww the second time too, but defo worth raising again if you’re worried x
I have, the said they would up it. They also said that if it’s not going to make a viable pregnancy that the progesterone is just prolonging it really. Xx
I bled before OTD in my first cycle (a chemical pregnancy and I was on two pessaries a day). For my second cycle, my progesterone was increased to two pessaries a day plus one Lubion progesterone injection every day (miscarried at 6 weeks). Third cycle I was upped to two pessaries a day plus Prontogest intramuscular injection every other day (ended in a chemical pregnancy). My clinic have never checked my progesterone levels which concerned me. This time I demanded they be tested after my chemical pregnancy. Currently awaiting follow up appointment to discuss things.
