No fetal Pole visible at 7 weeks - Cyclogest/Lubion side effects

Hi - I'm new here and had a hard few weeks that began with a positive FET (yay) followed by some bleeding/spotting and v painful cramps for 2 weeks. The hospital say this was coming from cervix and not the pregnancy it has since all stopped. Last week I had a scan and no fetal pole visible (should be 7 weeks) so I'm very worried now and have to go back to be re-scanned on Friday. I am dreading it I actually wish I could be put to sleep for it.....

My question is for those on lubion injections/cyclogest pessaries if anyone experienced fairly bad nausea with these? My nausea is still bad and getting worse each day but I don't want to get my hopes up and think it's the pregnancy when it could be the progesterone.

Fingers crossed x

I am on both of these, 2x cyclogest and Lubion injections daily. I am 6 weeks pregnant and I have suffered no nausea at this point. I don’t think it’s a side effect of the progesterone, I would say it is a pregnancy symptom 🤞 Good luck x

Thank you so much for replying I appreciate that. I was hoping it would be pregnancy related but I am so all over the place right now I can't allow myself to be hopeful it's so difficult. x

I have also had spotting/bleeding, it is a scary time. I woke up in the night and had bleeding, I was freaking out 🤦‍♀️ but my blood test came back really high, have been spotting ever since! I feel this has been a rollercoaster of emotions, when really it should be such a happy experience. So I totally understand how you feel. xxx

The spotting had me saying my prayers every time I went to the toilet but as long as it doesn't get heavy (even though it did for me aswell!) it is very common. It is the most nerve wracking thing I have ever been through for sure. Congratulations to you too!

Thank you, mine was an FET, they also told me it was very common, but it’s hard to feel reassured. Especially as this was our 6th and final attempt at IVF. It’s quite hard to chill out 😬 Hoping all goes well with your scan, good luck 🌈 x

Hello Donza1

Did you experience any side effect with cyclogest? I get some abdominal pain.

When did you start cyclogest and lubion?

I am on a natural cycle FET and don't know why my clinic prescribed 400mc cyclogest twice daily (i.e. 800mg a day) even though my natural progesterone is high...

Best wishes to you on your journey.

Hi FacingrealityI didn’t have any abdominal pain from the cyclogest, but I was using them rectally....far less messy🤦‍♀️

I started them 5 days before my transfer and started Lubion injections day of transfer.

Thank you I am now 12+1 weeks 🙌 x
