Day before EC

Hey all,

Going for EC tomorrow and since I took triggers yesterday I have been feeling week, headache and heavy in my abdomen, anyone had odd symptoms after triggering?

Also, they have asked me not to eat or drink from midnight today but can I drink water?

Hey lovely. Good luck for your EC. I was absolutely shattered during it all and heavy abdomen. I’m sure that’s totally normal.

You can’t have anything after midnight. 🙈. I was so thirsty and hungry. The tea and toast after the EC is the best ever. Lol. X

For my egg collections they've been happy for me to drink water until a few hours before the procedure, so I've been able to have water in the early morning on the day of egg collection.

I've also always had quite a lot of symptoms coming up to egg collection, for me particularly bloating and of course tiredness.

Thank you lovey ladies... just came back and they have retrieved 5 eggs, embryologist will call tomorrow with how many have fertiliser and further process ... fingers crossed 🤞

Hi smaddie. You need to check re drinking water. However, if the egg colection has now been done, in view of you being bloated, you need to drink plenty of water in case you have over stimulated. Hope all goes/has gone well. Diane
