Hi everyone

Hope you are all ok? I’ve got a quote from Asda for 21 days of lubion (one Injection a day) for £200. Is this good? Thanks xx

Hello, I’ve been paying £80per week from my clinic so that quote is very good.

Did you just ring them for a quote ? I’ve always wondered how it works ordering from asda as apparently they don’t make a profit on ivf medication x

I just took the private prescription into them and about 4 days later they said they would ring me to pick them up. It seems very easy. It doesn’t come with a sharps bin or needles but we have access to these anyway. But I think you’d be able to ask your clinic to add these on.

I'm sure when I got mine at Asda it cost £56 per box with 7 vials in each box so yours is a bit more expensive but Lubion is expensive unfortunatley.xxx

Hi, in my clinic I paid £105.00(!!!!!) for a box of 7 lubions.. once my clinic "graduated" me, they gave me a prescription to get my meds from somewhere else.. I wish they would've told me that earlier as I paid around £60-£65 from Asda.

Asda will get you the best price out of all pharmacies.

£67 a box for me and from Asda which seems ok so I think I’ll go for it!’t previous rounds (multiple) I’ve done through stork but I feel a bit sick about how much extra it has cost 🥴 Asda all the way now!!! Xxx

Thanks for your replies

£56 for a box in Hertfordshire. My clinic charge £140 a box!!! I do have to pay the clinic £30 for a private prescription but it’s now a repeat so no other costs needed. Asda sit on this prescription for 6 months.

Is this from Asda? Oh this is interesting about the prescription. I will ask my clinic about this. They actually missed the lubion off my stork delivery so they haven’t charged me for the prescription but I’m going to use Asda from now on, so I will mention this! Thanks!

Sorry yes Asda. They were great in sourcing all my drugs. I paid £1300 but my clinic would have charged me £1900!!

Asda take a few days to get them in, and as said above they can’t get the injections for the lubion. My clinic and I’m sure most are used to patients sourcing drugs elsewhere. They were absolutely prepared to get me drugs from there onsite pharmacy, I.e gonal f, if I needed it after a scan etc, and didn’t have time for Asda.

Asda were great too!

Hi I get all my medication from Asda, its cheapest as they don't make a profit on IVF drugs. I'm on Lubion daily its expensive 7 vials - £56.
