How many days after Fresh Embryo Transfer should your official test day be ? Is it 14 days after transfer ? I had transfer on 2nd March & been told by my clinic to test today 12th March which is only 10 days after my transfer . Confused as I thought it would be 2 weeks and my official test day would be 16th March ? Today I got a BFN 💔 Maybe I’m just living in hope and thinking I’ve tested too early . I’m finding it really hard to accept this 😔 Any advice would be helpful 🙏🏼
I was told with fresh transfer and home test to test 14 days post transfer. My clinic also said it depends if it was 3 day or 5 day transfer. Our fresh was a 3day transfer. Keeping everything crossed for you xx

Sorry you are going through this ... have you called the clinic ? Your test day was probs to account for your trigger shot and embryo stage . Definitely check with your clinic 👍 mine was at 16 days ( also neg😢)x x x sending big hugs x
Hi Gatarra , thank you for reaching out ❤️ I called my clinic and left 2 messages today but no ones called me back 😔 It doesn’t help that my period was due 3 days ago and still no sign of it , could be the Cyclogest right enough causing havoc with my cycle. Sorry to hear about your neg test , it is honestly soul destroying for us women wouldn’t wish this feeling on anyone. Sending hugs to u also xxx

Well it depends on the clinic because I did transfer on march the 3rd and my first testing was today the 12 of March.
Hi Faith! I've had 4 embryo transfers and my clinic always recommends to test 16 days after egg collection ( not embryo transfer). I was very surprised the first time as I was expecting a 2 weeks wait but they said results should be reliable 11 days after ET. Sorry to hear it isn't good news for you 😢 mine was also a BFN. I tested on Wednesday and stopped my meds then and still no sign of AF.
I too tested on weds after my first fresh transfer and also negative. Got what I think was my period on day 7 even though it wasn’t due until Thursday just gone. So now I’m waiting and wondering if/when I’m going to get another as I thought cyclogest was meant to delay it not bring it forward 7 days 🙄

We've got one in the freezer too but we are thinking about doing another IVF cycle before using the last frozen embryo. My AMH isn't great and I turn 40 in August so we think it might be a good idea to get as many as we can before things get even worse... Such a hard journey xx
I turn 40 in November so I’m considered a geriatric!!! My AMH was surprisingly high so I’m going ahead with the frozen. I had an awful time of it with the IVF. So much pain. I’m convinced I had OHSS but it was never confirmed by a scan or anything. It really is a tough journey. It was a very dark and stressful month so I’m hoping a frozen transfer will be slightly easier (don’t think ‘easier’ is the right word!). I just need to see when AF decides to show up! For now I’m assuming my week early bleed was AF but who knows?! Good luck with it all if you go ahead with the second cycle...I too will be having a glass of wine!! xx
Sorry to hear your experience was so bad. To be honest, other than some cramping I haven't really struggled with the process, physically... The emotional side is another story, but I don't want to feel like I didn't do as much as I could before it was too late. Wishing you all the best with your frostie! Xxx
My friend was the same as you to be honest. She said she felt like she had a little bruise after egg collection so I thought it would be a breeze!! But I had so much pain and felt so low and hormonal. I couldn’t exercise and my job is exercise so I felt totally lost and so out of sorts.
I’m glad it wasn’t bad for you as hopefully it’ll be the same second time round. I don’t blame you for doing everything possible at this point. It certainly is an emotional rollercoaster.

Thank you love. AF came this afternoon so at least I can start over now (and have a glass of wine). Hopefully yours will too. Take your time to process what has happened, it is very hard. I'd like to say it gets easier but it doesn't really. Maybe the expectations and hopes aren't as high when you keep getting BFN so the disappointment isn't as big but then you start getting more and more doubts "is it ever going to happen for me? When is it enough?...". Let's just hope our luck will change soon and our dreams will come true xx

I had a 3 day fresh transfer on 9th of September and my OTD was 21st. So 12 days post transfer. But I tested positive on day 11 xx good luck
Hi, I tested 9th and 10th day after a 5fet and it was extremely faint. Maybe try in another 2 days x 🤞🏻
Hiya i had a fresh fet on the 26th February and was told to test on the 7th march. Witch i thought was wired i ended up getting mine at 13dp5dt and now im 5 weeks tomorrow fringers crossed for you 🙏😘

I had a faint positive then i went for my bloods on 11dp and where only 45. Then went back again on 13dp and they jump up to 178. Thank u so much. Good luck dont give up yet ❤️just wait another couole days i no how u feel i was mentally exhausted sending lots of baby dust your way xx
