Hi all, I’ve recently found out that I’m pregnant which is amazing and I’m only four weeks But I do have lots of pain, I would say it’s a little bit stronger than period pains but the pain is there For about six hours a day for the last three days but I’m not sure what to do, Ever since I’ve been taking the pessaries I’ve had pain as well, therefore could it be a side-effect of the pessaries still

Pain in early pregnancy
I’m 5 weeks tomorrow and I’ve had quite a lot of pains and twinges all over the place for the past few weeks. It seems to be calming down a bit now. I tend to get trapped wind after taking the pessaries which also contributes to the pain I think. I’ve read that the pains are quite normal at this time because everything is starting to expand and stretch. Congratulations on your pregnancy.😀
Thank you so much for your reply. I’m defo hoping it’s just the normal pains 😝
Hi Brassimc. Make sure you don't get constipated, which is easily done with using pessaries. Plenty of water to drink, and keep an eye on urine output in case you are developing a bit of infection. Do get checked out if it persists. Hope all is soon well. Diane
Hi DianeWhen I first started taking pessaries my lining seemed really think when I inserted them but i’m 5 weeks now and when I inset them my insides don’t feel as think, would this be right?
