Hi lovely. I was making sure to get a lot of fiber. A bowl of oatmeal and a whole pomegranate worth of pom seeds nearly every morning. That helped me. But if that's not enough, ask your doc!

Hi alice. Oh dear not what you want. Try drinking some Fibogel to keep your motions soft and easy to pass. Lactulose or Movacol can help too. Plenty of water to drink and fruit and veg in your sensible diet. If it continues then speak with your GP. Hope it soon eases. Diane

Agree on Fibogel or Lactulose, I had terrible constipation after egg collection and they helped 🤞 x

I really suffered with this on our last round, it was awful. I even panicked I may have pushed the embryo out! (Clinic told me I couldn’t but your mind does funny things to you 😁). We’re just a few days away from OTD on round 2 now, and this time I’ve not suffered much with it at all. I’ve been having a fibre/bran breakfast every day, bran flakes, shredded wheat, that sort of thing, and I’ve been drinking loads more water than usual. It’s definitely helped x

And I’ve really cut down on eating eggs too as I find them quite binding x

Hi Alice , I’ve got the exact same problem . On advice from the pharmacist I’m on lactulose twice a day ( but be sure not to take too much and get diarrhoea as it can affect absorption of oral oestrogen pills ). I’m also eating a bag of prunes and a bowl of bran flakes every day and eating only veg for one meal , avoiding rice and too much protein . It’s taken 2 weeks but finally it’s started getting better . I’m also drinking 2l water a day . Apparently fibrogel is good too but I haven’t tried that . I really hope you get some relief :) take care x x x
