Hi, I’m just wondered whether anyone else had had this experience and if you can help me understand what’s going on?
I’m currently 7dp5dt and have been having a lot of bleeding this afternoon/evening. It’s quite red, like I’m getting my period. Surely this is too early?
On my last embryo transfer, I did bleed 2 days earlier but this time they gave me extra progesterone. I’m now on injections (100mg prontogest every three days) as well as the pessaries twice a day (cyclogest 400).
I texted the clinic and they said that some bleeding is common at this time and that I was on the maximum amount of progesterone.
Has this happened to anyone else? I’m going to contact the clinic again tomorrow but not sure what I should be saying to them.

I’ve been having cramps since transfer, although yesterday I had a few sharp twinges. I started bleeding last night and again today and it’s similar to AF. Contacted the clinic and they told me to continue with pessary regardless and test OTD anyways. This is my first fresh cycle so I have no prior experience unfortunately but even now I think it’s over for me this time. I no longer have sore boobs today.
One thing to note though, last night I woke up after only a few hrs, I was completely drenched in sweat, this isn’t like me at all.
The bleed at 6/7dp on 3 of my 4 transfers. Unfortunately it wasn’t a good sign for me. On my last transfer I had prontogest daily and cyclogest in the am and pm. Got levels checked day of transfer and 5 days after to check.
I had light red/pink and brownish bleeding 7-10 dpt. It was a bit heavier than just spotting but not as heavy as a period. I thought it was all over but am 33 weeks pregnant with twins. I sent off a HCG test on 8dpt and did a home test 10dpt because I was sure it would be negative. Both came back strong positive. I hope it's the same for you.
