I want some suggestions from you people regarding my IVF journey, actually my hubby has a very low sperm count, it keeps on decreasing day by day, so we have consulted urologist London for this, he suggested him to take ultrasound scan, reports comes everything is normal. And then urologist suggested to take medicines upto 2months thinking if sperm count might increase with that medicines, and we are thinking that it’s a waste of time for us to delay again and again because of them..actually we have started our initial process in September 2020, now feb 2021...we have been waited since these months in order to start our treatment, again they are delaying something like that..I donno actually what to do now..
what are your suggestions lovely’s
Is it really worth to take medicines for 2months to increase the sperm count and then go for treatment? Is it really medicines helps to increase sperm count in these 2 months?
What should I do?
Or els can I go with treatment process as soon as possible with out much delaying?
Your valuable suggestions are utmost important to me at this peak times..I would appreciate your valuable suggestions❤️
Awaiting your replies
Baby dust upon all❤️
Thank you

YES! If there are sperm issues it doesn't matter how old you are or "healthy" your fertility is. Get both sides in best position possible. You can see from this site issues with sperm resulting in 0% fertilization-that is one of the things you risk by not waiting, you could go through an entire cycle with nothing to show for it. You are young and have plenty of time to try and sort the male side.
2 months is actually quite short - to sort many male issues you are looking at 3 mos to years.
Absolutely agree with the above. My husband has azoospermia, meaning no sperm and after seeing Dr Ramsay and being on hormone treatment for 4 months, we founds good quality sperm, and im now 30 weeks pregnant. I know its hard to wait, but if we had just rushed into it, no decent sperm may have been found and we could have had a failed round and then had to pay more money and wait even longer for the next round with hormone treatment, causing a greater delay and more money, plus the added stress of a failed round.
Sperm replenishes every 72-90 days, so for drugs to have any affect on sperm you would need to wait at least that long to ensure its made the difference in your treatment.
