I’m after some advice. Since My 2nd transfer last year I’ve been pretty much on medication for the whole time - with breaks to bleed between cycles. But the last few periods have been almost non existent and I’m starting to worry. I get a day of spotting then a light bleed for maybe a day, so little that I almost miss it 🤦🏼♀️
Has anyone experienced this abs have they returned to normal or is this a sign of something else? Xx

Hey hun! It sounds like your body is probably just confused with the meds that it’s been on for the past few months. I haven’t experienced this personally though but would hope once you came off everything, your body would readjust and have a normal bleed again. I’m sure there will be other ladies on here with a similar experience to share though
Have you been able to speak to your clinic about your bleeds? Hope you’re doing well though and that cyst has gone away now xxx
Thanks lovely - yes maybe that will be the case. But it worries me that I'm growing a decent lining too, as I'm not even sure what to call day 1 of my cycle now, they're so light.I'll definitely talk to my clinic. Supposed to be having a scan on day 1 (maybe today???) to check the cyst - will let you know!
Ah how did the scan go (if it happened?) hopefully when they scan you they can see how your lining is doing.
All good with me thanks, somehow almost at 10 weeks now - just wishing away the next few weeks so I can be out of the 1st trimester (although I’m sure the anxiety isn’t going to leave me anytime soon)
Keep me posted with how you get on lovely. Have everything crossed for you xxx
Yep had my scan and the cyst has gone!! Lining looked fine for day 1 so they’re not worried. Starting fyremadel today so hopefully transferring in 2 - 3 weeks 😬💖 thanks for checking in!!
Exciting times!! I bet the anxiety never really leaves you but at least it will hopefully ease off like you say. Xxx
Aww millbanks! I am soooo happy for you! Great news on the cyst and the lining - 🥳🥳 so exciting that you can now focus on your FET after the last month of waiting. Really hope it goes well for you hun!
Yes definitely, trying to take it one day at a time and not becoming a total mess. So far so good xxx
Hey hun, I was put on clomid about 3 years ago and my periods have never really been the same since. This may or may not be coincidence. Mine are very light and last about a day, 2 max (but nothing really happens on day 2!) For me, I don’t think it’s a sign of something else and I don’t think they will change now as it’s been a while. I do have a thin lining which I’m pretty sure is linked so I’ve really had to play around with supplements over the years. Do you know if that’s the case for you? Do speak to your clinic as it will be useful for them to have a heads up. I wouldn’t worry too much about a ‘normal’ bleed. There’s no such thing and peoples bodies change. Everyone is so different and there are ways around these things. Try not to worry. Xx
Hi lovely, thanks for your message. Mine have definitely been different since IVF - I used to get awful period pains and really heavy bleeds, and now I barely notice them. The last couple of transfers I've struggled with lining thickness (as I think I've asked you about that before!) But at the moment I can't even figure out which day is cycle day 1🙈 I'm sure they are fine, but there's always something to worry about hey! Hope you're doing well my lovely xxx
Do you get 1 day with some red blood? Count that as day 1. That’s what I do. I only get 1 day like this so it’s easy to spot! Yes there is always something to worry about 🤦♀️xx
My last cycle I didn't even really get that but I was on buserelin so that may have been why - but for the most part yes, I do get at least 1 red day.... Oh the joys!xx
Hey Millbanks, how are you doing with everything? I just wanted to say that I had my lightest period ever and not even a slight menstrual cramp, but it was with a 14mm lining after 20days of progynova. So that’s confusing! But it showed me that the heaviness of my period has little to do with lining thickness. I hope the scans can shed some light on the situation and you get to get going soon xx
Hi Maui, that’s good to hear! There’s always something isn’t there... I have a scan tomorrow to see if my cyst has gone 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 and if so then we’ll start meds for FET. How about you lovely? Are you pressing ahead with your clinic move? Xxx
Oh I’m really hoping you get good news about the cyst! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽I got an appt with my previous Dr at my old clinic last week, on day 1 of my cycle. I think he felt sorry for me because he managed to pull strings so that I could have a scan the next day and start my natural FET. Only thing now is getting is the embryos there in time for transfer. I’ve been on or by the phone all day today, nervously trying to get things in order. Honestly such a rollercoaster.! And an obstacle course!
If all is ok with the cyst, when do you start meds? X
