No communication past fertilisation?!!is this normal?

Et tomorrow

Has any one experienced non communication since fertilisation? ( 2 eggs) I have a time booked in tomorrow for transfer ( day 5) but I have no idea how they are getting on? Did everyone get an update or anything before this point? I just have this dread they will phone first thing tomorrow to cancel. I just feel like it would be kinder to of given us some progress 😢this truely has been the worse weekend. Do you think they will be checking them? We have paid for time lapse I thought that was what it was for? Xx

I didn't hear anything before my transfer (day 5), other than the phone call the day after the collection. When I went in they said they would have called me if none had made it or were looking like they would make it. Keep positive. X

With my clinic it was a 'no news is good news' thing, so didn't hear anything until day 5 (freeze all cycle) and even then they didn't get back to me until the end of the day. It's really nerve wracking!! Good luck with your transfer xxx

I had phone calls every day then every other day x

I also paid for the embryoscope, I had a call day after my EC, then didn't hear anything until the day of ET, good luck for transfer xx

Hi our clinic ring day after EC then call on day 3 to update and then day 5 before you go in (although not always on day 5 as you’re going in with an idea). But other than that you don’t hear anything so if they don’t usually do a day 3 update at your place and are keeping a close eye, maybe there’s nothing to worry about. Although I know I’d be same as you!! Good luck today xx

We just heard how many had fertilised day after EC, then the next call was morning of ET - day 5, just to let us know. We also had the time lapse/embryoscope. I wish you all the best and good luck for today! 🥰

Thankyou so much!! I’m sure they will of checked on them but the communications overall has been shocking at the clinic, I rang the day after the fertilisation update as both me and my husband struggled to understand the results and knew nothing about the next move and the results had been totally different as to what the consultant had said? .. and he was so rude to us for ringing (first time I have ever called) I’m not a mitherer at all!! Xxxx
