We had an agonising wait this morning and the embryologist called about 11.20. Of our seven eggs, two have fertilised but the embryologists said they noted the eggs werenโt of a very high quality and only five were mature.
They are going to call us next early on Saturday morning and we will decide whether we do a day 3 or day 5 transfer. We agreed if they are not doing that well then we will do a day 3 transfer (potentially both embryos) and if one or both are doing well we will wait till day five. In my four egg collections we have always had two fertilise so at least we are consistent(!) but the heartbreak always comes between day 3 and 5.
I know I should feel pleased we have got this far but I just feel I am waiting for the heartbreak which will come in the next few days. Already had a good cry.
This process is so bloody hard! Iโm just hoping and praying for a miracle this time! ๐๐๐

Everything crossed for you! Fingers crossed we have a happy update! Take care of yourself! X
Please donโt give up hope just yet. I had egg collection last Friday and 9 eggs were collected. I received a call the same day that 7 out of nine eggs werenโt mature. After an anxious night two eggs had fertilized.. I really thought it was game over at this stage. At day 3 I was told both eggs are doing well .Anyway..I received a call yesterday to say that one egg had reached 5ab blast stage which I had transferred. Iโm living by the mantra that you only need one egg ๐ฅ to work. Xx
Sending you lots of positivity for those two embryos. ๐ค๐ฝ๐ค๐ฝ๐ค๐ฝโจโจโจ
As Natty (with her amazing story!! Whoop!) says it only takes one! Really rooting for you and hope that whether you decide on a day 3 or a day 5 you get some good news in 2 and a bit weeks! Good luck xx
