Anxiety 3rd time round craving alcohol

I’m going more crazy this round than my 1st & 2nd round! I think the more you know the more you worry!! Potential egg collection is on Thursday and I passed myself! Seeing everyone having fabulous valentines meal with glasses of Prosecco and wine is also making me want to run away and get drunk somewhere and try and forget everything!! Sorry I just had to rant 🤦🏼‍♀️happy valentines everyone ❤️.

Yes IVF is really really hard but it’s temporary, so stay strong and you’ll have your Prosecco in 9 months time 😉In the meantime.....get a Virgin cocktail! It is hard I completely understand. I know with me I completely understand and want to do everything I can to increase my chances, but I love wine!! I cannot deny it! I’m currently waiting for my period so I can start a 3rd cycle but I’m savouring every drop so will have one for you...we will be rewarded, our abstinence will be rewarded, that’s what I tell myself. Well done and eat all the chocolate xxx

Aw it is so hard sometimes isn't it. Why don't you wait until the evening after egg collection (if you want to of course) and then treat yourself to a glass or 2 of something and some yummy food. I treated myself to 2 (very generous) glasses of Bailey's and a Chinese, it definitely didn't do any harm. Good luck with your egg collection, hope it goes well xxx

I had exactly the same thoughts re Prosecco yesterday Hopedream!! We had a lovely meal, but felt like there was something missing. Plus I feel like it's harder when everyone keeps going on about drinking in lockdown. There's a lot going on and it would be nice to 'take the edge off' occasionally but I guess it's for the greater good! Plus no hangovers is a bonus 👍
