Ovary pain

Hi all. Before my FET, I started to notice twinges in both my ovaries that is still going on since my positive pregnancy test. My two HCG tests found the level is increasing nicely according to the clinic and they have booked in my visibility scan for March 3 and said I should let them know of any pain (they said discomfort is fine) or bleeding. I am not bleeding at all.

Since the last two days, the ovary pain now mainly happens when I walk or sit in one position for a while. I have mild nausea and the sorest boobs and then the fact it's happening in both ovaries makes me think it's not Ectopic but I'm wondering what on earth it is??

Oh, also I'm quite constipated so wondering if that might have something to do with it

Please help! Should I tell the clinic or just wait till March 3 scan? Thanks!

Hey Cranbonks, congratulations so exciting! I have opted to tell the clinic of everything that may worry me. They have allayed all concerns and told me when it's normal. I think you should definitely contact them. It could be linked to constipation, but have you had this before? Hope it all is ok xxx

Thank you Masief. Ok I will tell them, even a small thing it’s good for them to know everything to do with it eh. Congratulations to you also! Xxx

Hi, I have the same thing. 5w3d pregnant from FET with ovarian twinges. Are you on hormones? I'm told it is normal, but tell your clinic just to be sure. xx

Hi Luxefleur, ah right yes I am 5wks 1day so not far behind you at all! I am on estradiol 2xvaginally and 1mg progesterone in oil 1x injections per day. From what I’m reading it does seem normal and isn’t particularly painful but it just concerns me - I’m sure I don’t see pregnant ladies wincing as they’re walking, thinking there’s something wrong. Haha. Ok I’ll definitely tell my dr and just make sure he agrees it’s normal. Thank you! And congratulations!

By any chance, are you also on insulin? I am. Wondering if that’s a factor also?

I am not on insulin, so must be something else

Hi Luxefleur, so I emailed my clinic about the weird feeling - the doctor said it's likely my uterus lifting up in the pelvis (which is funny as I didn't think that would happen for a while yet). This might go some way to explaining why my belly is sticking out already, even after I fixed the constipation :) - anyway I'm taking as it's ok as it's lessened a fair bit since I first wrote and I'm only getting one or two twinges now - not like the big ones I had two days. How are you doing with yours? xx
