I’ve just had my last scan before my trigger shot tonight and will definitely be doing a freeze-all.

I honestly can’t believe how much pain I’m in! I was warned I was high risk of OHSS due to pcos but they never told me how ill I would feel... I now have to take cabergoline from tonight then fragmin injections from Sunday until told otherwise.

At this point I’ll just be glad to get these eggs out!

Oh bless you Gem. I had my EC Monday and afterwards they told me I was ag risk of OHSS. I've been so uncomfortable I really didn't expect to feel this bad. I've got to have a scan before transfer go see if I've developed it before they can go ahead. Wishing you a speedy recovery xxx

Hi Gemgem. Not what you hoped for I’m sure, but your little embies will be quite safe while you get over the OHSSS. Make sure you drink plenty of water to keep your urine nice and pale, and plenty of it. Rest when you can and if you become breathless you need to go to A & E. Hopefully all will soon settle and you can have FET. Thinking of you. Diane

Thankyou Diane, I already expected the freeze-all so I’m not too worried about that. I now know that my body definitely needs time to recover! I just wasn’t expecting to feel so unwell and in so much pain. The clinic is going to call me daily to see how I’m feeling and I’ve been given a number to call for a ward out of hours if needed.
