Any body had success with transfering two embryos , previously had three fails with single embryo transfers . They are also going to be prescribing progesterone injections instead of just pessaries.

Any body had any luck with a double embryo transfer after three failed single embryo transfers?
I had 2 fresh rounds with single embryos that failed. 2nd round was perfect with top quality hatching blast but didnt work.3rd round transfered 2 and currently 11 weeks pregnant. Sometimes it just seems to take a few goes.
Ive had progestrone injections on all rounds.
Good luck for your next round xx
Aw congratulations bluejeans that's amazing, I have had a fresh transfer and two FETs all perfect but just not sticking. I am just so worried I am wasting another two embryos xx
Thanks you. Yeah i totally understand that. I only ended up with 2 good ones this time and as a last minute decision just asked for both. If progestrone has been identified as something to increase for you then hopefully that does the trick. It's so hard when there's no reason for it not working, but a few tweaks here are there seems to make all the difference. My cycles were all fresh but i think the only real changes with the successful round was i took a different drug at the beginning instead of the pill. I was then religious with the blue top milk, a pint a day and i started it weeks before the transfer. My hospital say it makes the uterus more receptive and there's evidence to show it improves implantation. No idea if that made the difference but it worked.
Amazing you have some to freeze, we never had that xx
I had multiple failed transfers with my own and donor eggs (so with the latter I knew it wasn't egg quality). In the end I paid for my new clinic to do more indepth investigations and they turned up several issues that hadn't been identified / treated before: genetic propensity to implantation failure/miscarriage, unfriendly microbiome, underactive thyroid. The first transfer I did with them after a new protocol was my first ever positive test. I am 9 weeks tomorrow and keeping everything crossed it stays sticky.
If your clinic can test for any of these it might be worth it before going for another transfer.
Good luck.
Thanks for replying lovely, I'm still with the NHS at the moment so they do minimal tests, in my head I thought it's not going to work unless I go private. I have three embryos frozen so I'm just trying to get them done. I haven't even had my bloods rechecked for 18 months . They seem like they just want to keep putting them in with no investigation. They are putting me on progesterone injections this time . If you don't mind me asking was the testing done in the UK?xxx
I had 3 failed single transfers and had a successful double transfer on my 4th go and gave birth to twins a couple of weeks ago.
For me I very had this “feeling” that my twins needed each other to stick - I know that sounds silly?! My clinic wanted to transfer my AA embryo but I said no and that I wanted a different 2 which were graded lower. And in fact one was the lowest grade x
After 3 implantations failures (and 1 that did implant but ended in mmc) I was offered further tests on the NHS which included thyroid testing, blood clotting testing and karyotype testing. So it might be worth asking your clinic about these (I believe 3 failed cycles is counted as recurrent implantation failure).
We then also decided to go for the ERA/Alice/Emma test which we had to pay for. This showed I needed an extra 12 hours progesterone. So that may be something to think about too xx
