My first two week wait... and yup I tested 4 days after transfer!! Help!

Gosh this is so hard! I really thought I would breeze through this time and it would fly by... I’ve found myself doing the exact opposite of what I thought I’d be doing. Every little pain or niggle I’m Googling and my hope for this to work is so intense..

Now I’m just out in the open with my thoughts. 3 times a day having progesterone and hanging on every symptom!

I stupidly did a pregnancy test last night of course it was negative.. it has been 4 DAYS since my egg implantation of our only egg that was hatching and great quality. I reassured myself that as I have tested negative that if I do get a positive next week at least it will be a true positive and not due to the trigger hormone.

I had lower abdomen pain yesterday and back ache which I actually took paracetamol for in the end as I kept wondering what it was.

Can anyone share any positive stories if they had with aches and pains due to implantation bleeding and a positive result or if anyone tested early and was neg then later positive?

Very impatient and emotional right now I burst into tears last night at the dinner table feeling guilty that I have been getting excited at all the little signs that might not even be signs! 😔💕

Hi! Try not to panic! 4dp5dt is very very early to get a positive you are not out! I had cramps from 2-5 days past and bit of spotting 9dp5dt and got a bfp. But some women have no symptoms at all. I would say wait until otd but I would be a massive hypocrite 😂 try to hold out for another test! Fingers crossed for you! X

Thank you. Yes I am such a doughnut on day 4 post egg transfer expecting something! Thank you for sharing your story xxx

I had a transfer 15th Dec and tested 24th (9days later) to a very very faint positive. Theres really no point in testing so early, you're only torturing yourself. Its important to be as stress free as possible. Go on YouTube, there are great meditations on tww. I only tested on day 9 because of strong spotting. Im now 9+ weeks . Remember fear is a lie,and not your friend. Best of luck 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I echo what Kevsmom has said, I know how badly you want to know and waiting is hard but testing early only leads to stress. You want to be relaxed and positive as you can be. I did the weirdest thing and tested 2 days after OTD to have a clear result. Try and distract yourself with meditation, mantra and gentle walks. If you're off work, watch comedy or do an activity that's gentle and makes you happy. You want your nervous system to be calm as possible, it's helped me. Good luck xx

Oh its so hard being in the 2ww. Don't beat yourself up for testing early, there are a lot of us out there that do it! It does take the wind out of your sails seeing a negative but don't give up, its super early and still time for it to change. I had a bit of a lower back pain due to implantation and the tiniest bit of spotting but had I not been wearing a panty liner I wouldn't have noticed. However I had had other BFP's which we sadly lost and didn't have any implantation spotting with those so sometimes you get symptoms and more often than not you don't! Good luck.xx

I am also in my 2WW. I transferred last Wednesday and having blood test on Friday. It’s killing me not too test. I told had very bad back pain so took paracetamol like you a couple of days ago. I keep feeling like I am going to get my period.

I understand how you feel totally.

I tested early in my last transfer and that has made try and wait it out.

Hope it’s good news for both of us x

Oh me too. Please update this thread if you can. I feel so guilty for my partner, he is so excited and positive about it working for us. I feel so guilty when I talk about it all the time and worry about him if we were unsuccessful, such a surreal time in our lives at the moment. Sending lots of of hope your way xxxxx

Yes I will do. Just try and take it one day at a time. It’s so much easier giving advice then taking it..... I rang the nurse this morning and she said the pain was probably the embryo trying to implant so drink more water than you are doing already , eat little and often (because of nausea) and walk a little and try and take your mind of it till test day. Aww I know it is a rollercoaster testing early! It is super early days so I really hope things will change for you! I had v light spotting when I got my BFP for about 3 days before I was supposed to have my period and I had strong cramping and back pain (v similar to my normal period) but everyone is different so try not to compare if possible.

Good luck with when your official test day comes round 🤞🏽🍀 xx

Hi. I had my transfer done Tuesday 26th jan. so been 6days for me😬. Not done a test yet and hoping i wont. Bt iv said to myself earliest i can test is Saturday if i cany resist that is. Im having no symptoms as such tbh which worries me slightly bt trying not to look into it too much right now. Everything and everyone seems 50/50. Women with symptoms have had a BFP and BFN. Same with without symptoms. Same with spotting or no spotting. Its super hard i know. Bt just take each day as it comes instead of thinking of ur ‘official’ test date. Orels it’l drive u mad. Really wish good news for the both of us and everyonels too x

Oh wow. It’s so nice to read that somewhere else in the world somebody else is also feeling like this... I also get some admiration from you being so strong with it and sticking to the rules! Wishing positive vibes for you. 🥰

Hi everyone. Thought I’d just ask you (I am new to this forum so I don’t know if you will see this!) I feel so so bloated, to the point where I am eating less (not such a bad thing) as I don’t feel I have any room during dinner time. Constipated too! Anyone else feel like they would flop all over the room like a balloon with a puncture!! Any tips to manage this? X
