Wondered if anyone would be willing to share their FET success stories and/or tips for what to do/not to do after the transfer! Our little embroyo was transferred this morning. I had a natural cycle. 💙

Hey 👋 my son was a 5 day FET. He was frozen for 3 months before transfer 🙂 The best advice I had from my fertility nurse after transfer was 'Treat your body like you are pregnant & take every day as it comes'. I slept well, I ate 3 meals a day, drank plenty water and exercised minimally. Honestly from the minute he was back in my body I looked after myself. Every morning I'd wake up and say day 3, day 4, and then on day 10 I got impatient & took my test. My back was agony, boobs achy, I set myself up to see a BFN & legit was sooo shocked to see a BFP!! I took the test on my own cause I didn't want to upset my hubby if it was negative, in a way I wanted to protect him cause no way did I expect it to be positive (1st embryo transfer - who knew it would work 1st time or so I thought). my nurse gave me into trouble for testing early so don't take inspiration from me incase you get into trouble too.

My son is now a 2 year old maniac but I thank my lucky stars every day for his beautiful face. Fingers crossed for you - I hope this was the kinda message you needed 💛x

RobynL, this is wonderful, thank you! Exactly what I needed to hear. I think you're right - I'm going to treat these next two weeks as if I am pregnant and look after myself properly. I didnt do that last time so always wondered if that was a factor. Thank you again! X

Hey 👋🏻 I’m currently 23 weeks with my FET. I didn’t lift anything heave (apart from my daughter) took my vitamins and medication religiously and didn’t exercise at all (that was alien to me!) I don’t think there is any nailed on tips to give anyone really! Your doing the best you can and if your little emby is a strong one fingers crossed he’ll/she’ll take ☺️ Good luck in your journey xx

After 12 weeks! With my first I trained up to 8 months. This time round it’s very different. My body isn’t allowing me to exercise as much so doing as much as I can tolerate xx

I had my transfer on the 19th and have just got a BFP, still early days but happy to share what I did (in case it helped!)

First 4 days, I just rested, ate 3 healthy meals a day, as well as a fresh fruit smoothie a day, with spinach in it. I have only eaten and drunk warm things - room temp water and warm food - the cold weather helps! I’ve also had eggs everyday for breakfast as it’s a good source of vit d. Watch your favourite tv, start a new boxset, read books or anything else you enjoy to take your mind off it. After a few days I started to do a bit more but do everything slowly and look after yourself. Keep your feet warm, fluffy socks and hot water bottle on them if you need it.

I was also told to act as if I am pregnant and take everyday as it comes. Wishing you the best 🥰

Thank you for sharing. And congratulations on your BFP, you've got over the biggest hurdle! Thank you for the tips. Going to look into smoothies 😊

Hey dear, I just want to say you good luck. Let me know if you have a short protocol or long as I started my first with a short protocol. I think it is ok so far. The injections are too bad but I felt ok. I have been drinking a lot of water to avoid bloating. My tummy is a bit sore because of needles. I also exercised to remain well. I know its just easier to say than to do but for me i think it has not been so bad. Just make sure to always remain busy otherwise you spend all your time worrying.

I wish you good luck

Thank you :) I had ICSI in November but sadly that didn't work. We had a one embryo frozen and have just had that transferred. Taking it easy in these next 10 days - trying to give the embroyo the best shot of sticking! Wishing you lots of luck with your cycle. X

I had success with FET end of 2017. After transfer don't carry anything heavy, and this is true throughout your pregnancy. Don't do any strenuous exercise after your FET, drink lots of water, do things that make you feel happy. No baths, massage, jacuzzi. Be positive and visualise your embryo implanting and developing. Fertility coach on youtube has 2 free visualizations.

Good luck!!!
